1. Pre–trial report - information about the personality traits of the suspect, the accused.

2. The content of the pre-trial report includes introductory, descriptive and advisory parts.

The introductory part specifies:

1) time, date and place of preparation of the pre-trial report;

2) the position, surname and initials of the person who drafted the pre-trial report;

3) last name, first name and patronymic (if any), date, month, year and place of birth of the suspect, the accused.

The descriptive part contains the following information about the suspect, the accused:

1) citizenship, marital status, occupation, education, place of residence, criminal record, and other data characterizing them;

2) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 12/30/2021 No. 95-VII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

3) social characteristics;

4) the results of psychosocial personality testing;

5) assessment of the risks of their committing criminal offenses;

6) following the recommendations of the probation service.

The recommendation part indicates an approximate list of duties and restrictions that are recommended to be used when assigning a punishment to a person and executing it.

The information provided in the pre-trial report is used in the implementation of all types of probation, taking into account its updating.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2016 No. 38-VI SAM.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of the organization and functioning of probation and establishes the concept, purpose, objectives, principles, types and forms of probation, as well as the legal status of persons in respect of whom probation is applied and the subjects who carry it out.
