Article 2. The main principles of civil legislation of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Civil legislation is based on the recognition of the equality of participants in the relations regulated by it, the inviolability of property, freedom of contract, the inadmissibility of arbitrary interference by anyone in private affairs, the need for the unhindered exercise of civil rights, ensuring the restoration of violated rights, and their judicial protection.
2. Citizens and legal entities acquire and exercise their civil rights, and, unless otherwise provided by legislative acts, renounce their rights voluntarily and in their own interest. They are free to establish their rights and obligations on the basis of a contract and to determine any of its terms that do not contradict the law.
3. Goods, services and money move and circulate freely throughout the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Restrictions on the movement of goods and services are introduced in accordance with legislative acts, if necessary to ensure safety, protect human life and health, protect nature and cultural values.
