Article 29. Termination of membership in an agricultural cooperative of the Law on Agricultural Cooperatives

Article 29. Termination of membership in an agricultural cooperative of the Law on Agricultural Cooperatives

      1. Membership in an agricultural cooperative is terminated in the following cases::  

     1) withdrawal from the agricultural cooperative;

     2) alienation of the share to other persons;

     3) termination of the activity of an individual or liquidation of a legal entity that is a member of a cooperative or an associate member of a cooperative;

     4) exclusion from the agricultural cooperative;

     5) death, recognition by the court as missing or declaration of deceased of an individual who is a member of the cooperative or an associate member of the cooperative;

     6) liquidation of the agricultural cooperative.

     2. Each member of the cooperative has the right to voluntarily terminate his membership in the agricultural cooperative in accordance with the procedure established by this Law and the charter of the agricultural cooperative. An application for withdrawal from an agricultural cooperative must be considered within thirty calendar days from the date of filing the application.
