Article 313. Criminal cases within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan CPC of the Republic of Kazakhstan Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
1. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan acts as the highest judicial instance considering cases in the judicial board.:
1) petitions for review of verdicts, decisions of the courts of first instance after their consideration in the appellate instance, verdicts, decisions of the courts of appeal;
2) the Prosecutor General's protests against the verdicts and rulings of the court of first instance, regardless of their review in the appellate instance, verdicts and rulings of the appellate instance.
2. In the cases provided for by this Code, the collegium of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan considers petitions for the initiation of proceedings on newly discovered circumstances in cases referred to its jurisdiction.
