Article 321. Consequences of a court decision of the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. A court decision by which a citizen is recognized as missing is the basis for the appointment by the body performing the functions of guardianship or trusteeship of custody of the property of the missing person at his location.

     2. A court decision declaring a citizen dead is the basis for making an entry on the death of a person in the civil registry office.

     From the date of entry into force of the court decision, the inheritance in respect of the property of a citizen declared deceased is considered to have been opened.
