Article 382. The State cadastre of waste of the Ecological Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

   1. The State Cadastre of waste is a systematized, on the basis of geographic information systems, periodically updated and updated set of unified information on each waste disposal facility (indicating their spatial location), as well as types of waste, their origin and physico-chemical properties (taking into account the danger to the public and the environment), component composition, quantitative and qualitative indicators, technical, hydrogeological and environmental conditions of storage, burial and dumping, technologies of their use and neutralization.

     2. All types of waste and waste management facilities are subject to registration in the state waste cadastre.

     The organization of the state waste cadastre is carried out by the authorized body in the field of environmental protection.

     The state waste cadastre is maintained by a subordinate organization of the authorized body in the field of environmental protection.

Facility operators are required to keep regular records (type, quantity, properties) of waste during their operations. The form of regular waste accounting and instructions for completing it are approved by the authorized body in the field of environmental protection in coordination with the authorized body in the field of state statistics.
