Article 48. Activities of state bodies to ensure the freedom of elections of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The day of voting and the day preceding it is a working day for courts, prosecutor's offices and internal affairs, as well as organizations for the operation of housing stock.
2. The internal affairs bodies and organizations operating the housing stock are obliged to provide the assistance required by the election commissions, respectively, according to:
1) ensuring public order and freedom of elections during voting;
2) clarification of the voter lists;
3) on other issues arising in the activities of election commissions.
2-1. Local executive bodies are required to assist election commissions in ensuring the electoral rights of citizens with disabilities.
3. If the election commission, when verifying an application submitted in its name, finds it necessary for law enforcement agencies to verify the circumstances specified in the application, the relevant authorities, upon request from the election commission, verify the circumstances and make a decision on the application within three days from the date of receipt of the application, and if the application is received less than five days before the date of receipt of the application. either on the day of voting, or immediately.
