Article 155. Abandonment in medium-security institutions for the detention of minors sentenced to imprisonment who have reached the age of majority of the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Persons sentenced to imprisonment who have reached the age of eighteen may, with their consent, be retained in an institution, but not more than until they reach the age of twenty-one.
2. Convicted persons left in the institution are subject to the conditions of serving their sentences, food standards and material and household provision for juvenile convicts.
3. The decision to leave convicts who have reached the age of eighteen in an institution is made by the court on the basis of a submission from the head of the institution.
