Article 526. The right of the payer to purchase permanent rent of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The payer of a permanent annuity has the right to refuse further payment of the annuity by way of its redemption.

     2. Such refusal is valid provided that it is stated in writing by the payer of the rent not later than three months before the termination of payment of the rent or for a longer period stipulated in the contract. In this case, the obligation to pay rent does not terminate until the recipient of the annuity receives the entire amount of the repayment, unless a different repayment procedure is provided for in the contract.

     3. The condition of the contract on the waiver of the payer of permanent rent from the right to its redemption is null and void.
