1. The following types of gambling business activities are carried out in the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) Casino;

2) slot machine room;

3) bookmaker office;

4) the sweepstakes.

2. It is prohibited on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) carrying out activities not provided for in paragraph 1 of this Article in the field of gambling;

2) e-casino and online casino activities;

2-1) online resources of foreign bookmakers and sweepstakes that do not have licenses for the right to engage in activities in the field of gambling in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2-2) electronic betting shops or betting shops, except those registered under domain names.KZ or .KAZ and are registered in accordance with the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) organization and conduct of gambling and (or) betting involving the acceptance of bets and (or) the issuance of winnings in the form of other property other than money, with the exception of casino activities, where it is allowed to issue winnings in the form of other property;

4) installation and use of gambling equipment for business purposes, with the exception of the places provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 11 of this Law;

5) betting, acceptance (accounting) betting on betting, payment of winnings on betting outside bookmakers and sweepstakes (bookmakers' cash desks and/or sweepstakes);

6) betting, acceptance (accounting) betting, payment of winnings by persons who are not organizers of the gambling business, who carry out the activities of a sweepstakes or a bookmaker's office;

7) organization and conduct of gambling and (or) betting under the guise of a prize draw aimed at stimulating sales of goods (works, services);

8) the organization and conduct of betting on events generated by software and (or) through the use of equipment (mechanical, electrical, electronic or other technical equipment) and (or) any visualization of the event, except for its direct broadcast;

9) provision of services for making payments in favor of foreign gambling business organizers whose activities are illegal in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by decision of the authorized body in accordance with this Law.
