Article 13. Calculation of the time limits established by this Code of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The term established by this Code, an employment or collective agreement, or agreements is determined by a calendar date, the expiration of a period of time that is calculated in years, months, weeks, or days. The deadline can also be determined by indicating the event that is about to occur.

     2. In the cases provided for by this Code, the time limit is calculated in working days.

     3. The period determined by the time period begins on the day following the calendar date of the occurrence of the event, which determines its beginning.

     4. Terms calculated in years, months, and weeks expire on the corresponding dates of the last year, month, and week. If the end of the period calculated in months falls on a month in which there is no corresponding date, the period expires on the last day of that month. Non-working days are also included in the period calculated in calendar weeks or days.

     5. If the last day of the term falls on a non-working day, then the first working day following it is considered to be the day of the end of the term, unless otherwise provided by this Code.
