1. The juror is paid by the authorized state body providing logistical and other support for the activities of the regional and equivalent courts upon completion of the consideration of a particular case, and if the consideration of the case is delayed, remuneration in the amount of half the official salary of a judge of the district court and equivalent court (with experience up to year), but not less than the average earnings of a juror at his place of main work in proportion to the time (number of working days) of presence in court.

2. Travel expenses shall be reimbursed to a candidate for juror (juror) in the manner and amount established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for employees of state institutions maintained at the expense of the republican budget.

3. The time spent by a juror performing his duties in court is taken into account when calculating the length of service.

4. When performing the duties of a juror, he retains the place of his main work. The dismissal of a juror or his transfer to a lower-paying job at the initiative of the employer during the performance of his duties in court is not allowed.

This Law regulates public relations related to the participation of jurors in criminal proceedings, defines the legal status, guarantees of independence, legal, economic and organizational bases for ensuring the activities of jurors.
