Article 280. Transfer of investor's rights to another person of the Entrepreneurial Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
If a foreign state or a state body authorized by it makes payments in favor of an investor under a guarantee (insurance contract) provided to it in respect of investments made in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the investor's rights (claims) to said investments are transferred to this foreign state or a state body authorized by it., in the Republic of Kazakhstan, such a transfer of rights (assignment of a claim) is recognized as legitimate only if the investor makes investments in the Republic of Kazakhstan and (or) fulfills certain contractual obligations.
