Article 5. Competence of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan in carrying out state registration of legal entities and registration of branches and representative offices of the Law on State Registration of Legal Entities and Registration of Branches and Representative Offices
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out:
state registration of legal entities that are non-profit organizations and registration of their branches and representative offices in accordance with this Law;
maintaining the National Register of Business Identification Numbers;
methodological guidance on the state registration of legal entities and registration of branches and representative offices;
monitoring of compliance by the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Justice with the requirements of this Law;
consideration of complaints about the actions of its territorial bodies on issues of state registration of legal entities and registration of branches and representative offices;
provision of information to state bodies with control and supervisory functions upon their request in cases stipulated by legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
