Individuals and legal entities are required to:

1) comply with and comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of plant quarantine and the instructions of the State plant quarantine inspector on the implementation of appropriate plant quarantine measures;

2) to provide, at the request of state plant quarantine inspectors, information on the availability of quarantined products and quarantine facilities;

3) ensure a systematic inspection of crops, territories, warehouses where quarantined products are stored, as well as submit existing quarantined products for inspection and examination;

4) in case of detection of quarantine facilities, immediately notify the authorized body;

5) do not create obstacles during plant quarantine activities;

6) provide assistance in localizing and eliminating the spread of quarantine facilities and alien species;

7) to carry out, at their own expense, measures to localize and eliminate the distribution centers of quarantine facilities and alien species included in the list of quarantine facilities and alien species, in relation to which plant quarantine measures are being established and implemented;

8) comply with the requirements of the introduced temporary quarantine phytosanitary measures.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 11, 1999 No. 344.

This Law defines the legal basis, goals, objectives and principles of plant quarantine measures, which are an integral part of the national security system, on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
