Article 601. Housing rental agreement of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. Under a tenancy agreement, the owner of the dwelling or a person authorized by him (the landlord) undertakes to provide the citizen (the tenant) and his family members with a dwelling for use for a fee.

     2. The rental agreement must be concluded in writing.
