Article 124. Corruption of persons under the age of sixteen of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The footnote. Article 124 as amended by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/15/2024 No. 72-VIII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).
1. Committing indecent acts without using violence against a person who is obviously under the age of sixteen, –
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with life imprisonment for the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
2. The same act committed against a person under the age of sixteen by a parent, stepfather, stepmother, teacher or other person who is charged by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the duties of her (his) upbringing, –
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years with life imprisonment for the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
3. The acts provided for in the first or second parts of this Article, committed repeatedly, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of twelve to seventeen years with life imprisonment for the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
