The footnote. Title of Article 19 as amended by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/10/2009 No. 179-IV (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2).

It is allowed without the consent of the author or other copyright holder and without payment of royalties, but with the obligatory indication of the name of the author whose work is being used and the source of borrowing.:

1) citation in the original and in translation for scientific, research, polemical, critical and informational purposes from lawfully published works to the extent justified by the purpose of citation, including reproduction of excerpts from newspaper and magazine articles in the form of press reviews;

2) the use, without income, of lawfully published works and excerpts from them as illustrations in publications, radio and television broadcasts, audio and video recordings of an educational nature to the extent justified by the intended purpose;

3) reproduction in newspapers, broadcasting or cable communication for general information of lawfully published articles in newspapers or magazines on current economic, political, social and religious issues or broadcast works of the same nature in cases where such reproduction, broadcast or cable communication was not specifically prohibited by the author;

4) reproduction in newspapers, broadcasting or cable communication for public information of publicly delivered political speeches, appeals, reports and other similar works to the extent justified by the informational purpose. At the same time, the author retains the right to publish such works in collections.;

5) reproduction or communication to the public in reviews of current events by means of photography or cinematography, by broadcasting or communication to the public by cable of works that become seen or heard during such events, to the extent justified by the informational purpose. At the same time, the author retains the right to publish such works in collections.;

6) reproduction, distribution, making available to the public, public performance of lawfully published works without profit in relief-dot font or other special methods for the blind, except for works specially created for such reproduction methods;

7) reproduction by libraries and archives of lawfully published works without making a profit in a single copy of the work, transferring it to digital format in order to replace lost or damaged copies of the work, as well as providing copies of the work to other libraries that have lost the work from their collections for any reason.;

8) reproduction without income by educational organizations, regardless of their forms of ownership, of individual articles and small-volume works lawfully published in collections, newspapers and other periodicals, short excerpts from other lawfully published written works (with or without illustrations) and providing copies of them to students and teachers for exams, classroom classes and self-study. preparation in the required quantities.
