1 Murder, that is, the unlawful intentional infliction of death on another person, –

is punishable by imprisonment for a term of eight to fifteen years.

2 Murder:

1) two or more persons;

2) a person or his relatives in connection with the performance of this person's official activity or the performance of a professional or public duty;

3) a person who is obviously in a helpless state for the perpetrator, as well as involving kidnapping or hostage-taking;

4) a woman who is obviously pregnant for the culprit;

5) committed with extreme cruelty;

6) committed in a way that is dangerous to other people's lives;

7) committed by a group of persons, a group of persons by prior agreement;

8) out of mercenary motives, as well as for hire or involving robbery or extortion;

9) out of hooligan motives;

10) committed in order to conceal another crime or facilitate its commission, as well as involving rape or violent acts of a sexual nature;

11) motivated by social, national, racial, religious hatred or enmity or blood feud;

12) committed for the purpose of using the victim's organs or tissues;

13) committed repeatedly;

14) a known minor;

15) committed by a criminal group, as well as in an emergency situation or during mass riots, –

is punishable by imprisonment for a term of fifteen to twenty years or by life imprisonment, with or without confiscation of property.

3 Murder of a minor –

is punishable by life imprisonment.
