This Law shall enter into force upon the expiration of ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication, with the exception of subitems 1), 2), 3) and 5) of paragraph 1, paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of Article 10, which shall enter into force on July 1, 2018, and subitems 1), 2), 3), 4) and 5) Articles 4, sub-paragraphs 2) and 3) of Article 5, Articles 6, 7, 8 and 9, sub-paragraph 4) of paragraph 1 of Article 10, Article 11, which enter into force on July 1, 2020.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2018 No. 131-VI SAM.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social and organizational bases aimed at ensuring the payment of compensation to victims of certain types of criminal offenses.
