Article 33. Medical examination and medical examination of persons abusing narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues of the Law on Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, Their Analogues and Precursors and measures to counteract their illicit trafficking and abuse

1. A medical examination is conducted in the direction of law enforcement officers, and a medical examination is conducted in the direction of a narcologist. A person who evades a medical examination or medical examination is subject to being brought to a drug treatment facility.
2. The procedure for conducting a medical examination and medical examination is determined by regulatory legal acts of the authorized bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates the legal basis of state policy in the sphere of trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors and establishes measures to counteract their illicit trafficking in order to provide drug treatment and protect the health of citizens, public and state security.
