1. A child left without parental care, if it is impossible to transfer him to a family for upbringing, is subject to placement in an educational, medical or other similar institution.

2. Alimony, allowances and other social benefits due to a child shall be transferred to his bank account and paid in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Conditions close to family conditions are created for children who are in educational, medical and other similar institutions for children left without parental care. A child has the right to maintenance, upbringing, education, comprehensive development, respect for his honor and dignity, ensuring his interests, preserving his native language, culture, national customs and traditions.

4. Employees of educational, medical and other similar institutions for children left without parental care who have committed anti-pedagogical or immoral acts against a child in these institutions are responsible in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. Protection of the rights and interests of a child in educational, medical and other institutions for children left without parental care, and assistance in finding employment are carried out by local executive bodies. Orphaned children who lost their parents before adulthood and children left without parental care are provided with housing from the state housing stock for use in accordance with the housing legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 8, 2002 No. 345.

This Law regulates relations arising in connection with the realization of the fundamental rights and legitimate interests of the child, guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on the principles of prioritizing the preparation of children for a full-fledged life in society, the development of socially significant and creative activity in them, the education of high moral qualities, patriotism and citizenship, the formation of national identity based on universal human values. values of the world civilization.
