Article 49. Property subject to requisition for defense needs The Law on State Property
1. Upon the introduction of martial law and the announcement of mobilization (general and partial), vehicles and other property necessary for defense needs are subject to requisition.
2. When martial law is imposed and mobilization (general and partial) is announced, if necessary, requisition as a measure to ensure martial law, the list of property subject to requisition is determined by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. The list of organizations whose property cannot be requisitioned for defense needs in accordance with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan is determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. The list and standards of property of individuals that are not subject to requisition shall be determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the standards of supply to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan in wartime, approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
