Article 984. Copyright management of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The copyright holder has the right to exercise the rights belonging to him personally, at his discretion. Other persons may manage copyrights only with the consent of the copyright holder and within the limits of their powers, with the exception of the rights provided for in Article 977 of this Code, when representation is carried out by a legal representative.
2. In accordance with the procedure established by legislative acts, holders of copyright and related rights may establish organizations responsible for managing copyright and related rights.
