Comment to Article 176. Procedure for performing actions on the last day of the term The Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Actions performed before 24 hours of the last day of the deadline have legal consequences (payment of the debt will mean fulfillment of the obligation within the stipulated period).
An exception to this rule is established for actions performed in institutions or organizations. In such a relationship, the last day of the term expires at the time of the official termination of work in these organizations or the conduct of relevant operations (for example, it is established that money is accepted into the notary's deposit before 12 noon, despite the completion of the notary's office at 18 hours).
If the commission of actions for which a deadline has been set is expressed in the submission of written statements (for example, claims about the poor quality of the delivered products) or in sending notices (for example, about the contractor's readiness to deliver completed works), then these actions are considered to have been completed in a timely manner, provided that the appropriately addressed statements or notices are sent to the post office or telegraph before 24 hours the last day of the deadline.
