Article 174. The end of the period determined by the time period of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The term calculated in years expires on the corresponding month and date of the last year of the term.

     For a period of six months, the rules for periods of months apply.

     2. The rules for periods calculated in months apply to the period calculated in quarters of the year. In this case, a quarter is considered to be equal to three months, and the quarters are counted from the beginning of the year.

     3. The term calculated in months expires on the corresponding day of the last month of the term.

     A period of half a month is considered to be a period of days and is considered to be equal to fifteen days.

     If the end of the period calculated in months falls on a month in which there is no corresponding date, the period expires on the last day of that month.

     4. The term calculated in weeks expires on the corresponding day of the last week of the term.
