Article 20-1. Deprivation of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Law On Citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     Deprivation of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan is allowed only by a court decision for the commission of terrorist crimes, as well as crimes provided for in the relevant articles of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a result of which other grave harm has been caused to the vital interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     The footnote. Chapter 3 is supplemented by Article 20-1 in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 11, 2017 No. 91-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).  

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 20, 1991 1017-XII. This Law regulates the issues of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
