Article 23. Labor relations in production cooperatives of the Production Cooperative Act
1. The working conditions of cooperative members are regulated by this Law and the founding documents of the cooperative, and persons working in cooperatives under an employment contract are regulated by the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. The amount of remuneration for the personal labor participation of members of the cooperative in its activities is determined by a decision of the general meeting.
The amount of remuneration, including official salaries and tariff rates, for employees is established by a decision of the general meeting of the cooperative's members, unless otherwise provided for in its constituent documents.
In all cases, the minimum wage of employees in a cooperative may not be lower than the minimum wage established by legislative acts.
The maximum amount of personal income of the members of the cooperative and its employees is not limited.

Citizens who work in a cooperative receive a full pension, regardless of its type and size.
5. The time spent working in the cooperative is included in the length of service.
6. Disciplinary penalties, including dismissal, may be imposed on the chairman of the cooperative, members of the management board, the supervisory board and the audit commission (auditor) only by a decision of the general meeting of the cooperative's members, and on its other senior employees - also by the management board (chairman) of the cooperative.
7. The length and schedule of the working day in the cooperative, the procedure for providing days off, vacations, including additional and other working conditions are determined in accordance with labor legislation in the rules of the internal labor regulations of the cooperative, as well as in the employment contract.
The duration of the rest period, including the duration of annual vacations, may not be less than the minimum amount established by the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the relevant categories of employees.
The cooperative implements measures to ensure labor protection, safety, industrial hygiene and sanitation, guided by the provisions and norms established by law.
8. The members of the cooperative and its employees are subject to insurance and social security.
Pregnant women (cooperative members and employees) are given easier jobs while maintaining the average earnings from their previous jobs. Maternity, maternity and child care leave, as well as other guarantees for pregnant women and women with young children, are provided in accordance with the procedure provided for by the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The cooperative establishes a reduced working day and other guarantees provided for by the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for its members and employees under the age of 18.
By decision of the general meeting, the cooperative has the right to introduce additional social security benefits for its members at the expense of its own income.
