Article 56. Termination of the activity of the certification center of the Digital Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The activity of the certification center is terminated in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. In the event of a decision to terminate its activities, the certifying center is obliged to inform all participants of the digital systems it services and the authorized body in the field of cybersecurity ninety calendar days before the termination of its activities.
3. Upon termination of the activity of the certifying center, the certificates of the electronic digital signature public key issued by it and the corresponding electronic digital signature keys, information about the holders of the electronic digital signature public key certificates, are transferred to other certifying centers in agreement with the owner of the electronic digital signature public key certificate.
4. Upon expiration of the period specified in paragraph 2 of this article, the certificates of the electronic digital signature public key and the corresponding electronic digital signature keys that have not been transferred to other certification centers shall cease to be valid and shall be subject to storage in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
