Article 14-1. Competence of local executive bodies of regions (cities of republican significance, the capital) The Law On Beekeeping
Local executive bodies of regions (cities of republican significance, the capital) carry out:
1) control over the development and protection of beekeeping in the relevant territory of the administrative-territorial unit;
2) coordination of breeding work and organization of state support for breeding in beekeeping in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on breeding livestock;
3) coordination of activities for the training and retraining of specialists in the field of beekeeping;
4) in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 12, 2002 No. 303.
This Law regulates relations in the field of beekeeping products production, protection, use and reproduction of bees, their effective use for pollination of crops and all pollinated flora, creation of conditions for increasing productivity of beekeeping, as well as crop production, ensuring guarantees of observance of the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities engaged in beekeeping.
