Article 180. The limitation period of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The limitation period begins on the day when the person learned or should have learned about the violation of the right. Exceptions to this rule are established by this Code and other legislative acts.
2. For obligations with a certain period of performance, the limitation period begins at the end of the period of performance.
3. For obligations, the term of which has not been determined or is determined by the time of demand, the limitation period begins from the moment the claim for fulfillment of the obligation is presented, and if the debtor is granted a grace period for the fulfillment of such a claim, the limitation period begins at the end of the specified period (paragraph 2 of Article 277 of this Code).
4. For recourse obligations, the limitation period begins from the moment the main obligation is fulfilled.
