On the discharge to the reserve of conscripts who have served the prescribed period of military service, and on the regular conscription of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan for military service in April-June 1996

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 28, 1996 N 2919

 In accordance with Article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 19, 1993 Z939000_ "On Universal military duty and military service", I decree:      

1. In April-June 1996, conscripts who have served the prescribed period of military service should be discharged from the ranks of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

2. In April-June 1996, to call for military service in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, male citizens who turn 18 on the day of conscription, who are not eligible for a deferral from military service, as well as citizens who have lost the right to a deferral from conscription.      

3. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims of regions and the city of Almaty should ensure the work of regional, city and district draft commissions, take the necessary measures to organize the conscription and dispatch of conscripted citizens to the troops for military service.  4. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Investigative Committee, together with the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, take measures to search for and bring to criminal responsibility persons who evade conscription.      

5. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
