Penalty for late payment of alimony
The legislator provides that in case of non-payment of alimony by a person who is obliged to pay it by a court decision and/or by agreement of the parties, the guilty person, at the request of the alimony recipient, is obliged to pay a penalty/fine in the amount of one tenth of one percent of the amount of unpaid alimony for each day of delay. The legislator also provided that the recipient of alimony has the right to additionally recover from the perpetrator of late payment of alimony. Persons all losses caused by the delay in fulfilling the obligation to pay alimony in the part not covered by the penalty. That is, you can recover damages for those missed opportunities that you could not receive as a result of not paying alimony on time.
