Article 175. Amendment of the amount of alimony previously established by the court and exemption from payment of alimony of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. If, in the absence of an agreement on the payment of alimony, the financial or marital status of one of the parties has changed after the amount of alimony has been established in court, the court may, at the request of either party, change the established amount of alimony or release the person obligated to pay alimony from paying it. When changing the amount of alimony or exempting them from payment, the court has the right to take into account other noteworthy interests of the parties.

     2. The court has the right to refuse to collect alimony to an adult capable person if it is established that he has committed a deliberate criminal offense against a person who is obliged to pay alimony, or in the case of improper behavior of an adult capable person in the family.
