Article 158. Financing of the Unified State System for Monitoring the Environment and Natural Resources of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Unified State System for Monitoring the Environment and Natural Resources is financed from budgetary funds and other sources not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Financing of the Unified State System for Monitoring the Environment and Natural Resources at the expense of budgetary funds is aimed at the implementation of the following types of activities:
1) creation and maintenance of a monitoring system at the national level;
2) creation of scientific and technical products to ensure the functioning and development of systems, subsystems and types of monitoring, the implementation of scientific and technical programs;
3) creation and maintenance of a monitoring system at the territorial level, creation of scientific and technical products for its development;
4) creation and maintenance of the information system "National Data Bank on the state of the Environment and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
