Article 16. The Order of Dostyk is awarded to citizens for fruitful work to preserve mutual harmony in society, merits in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples. Articles of the Law On State Awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Order of Dostyk consists of two degrees:

- "Dostyk" I degree;

- "Dostyk" II degree.

The award can be made without taking into account the sequence.
