Article 162. Methods and procedure for the payment of alimony under the alimony payment agreement of the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The methods and procedure for paying alimony under the alimony payment agreement are determined by this agreement.

     2. Alimony may be paid in shares to the earnings and (or) other income of the person who is obliged to pay alimony, in a fixed amount of money paid periodically; in a fixed amount of money paid in a lump sum; by providing property, as well as by other means agreed upon.

     The alimony payment agreement may provide for a combination of different ways of paying alimony.
