Article 18. Termination of the arbitrator's powers The Law on Arbitration
1. The powers of an arbitrator may be terminated by agreement of the parties on the grounds provided for in article 17 of this Law, as well as in the event of non-fulfillment of his powers within the prescribed period for dispute resolution or inability to perform his duties due to illness, death, or waiver of his powers to consider a dispute.
In case of disagreement regarding any of the grounds specified in part one of this paragraph, any party may apply to the head of the permanent arbitration with a request for a decision on the termination of the arbitrator's powers.
The decision regarding the termination of the arbitrator's powers is not subject to cancellation.
2. In the event of termination of the powers of the arbitral tribunal, the proceedings on the dispute under consideration shall be suspended until the election (appointment) of another arbitral tribunal.
3. The powers of the arbitrator shall terminate after the entry into force of the arbitral award in a particular case or if the parties have agreed on such termination. In the cases provided for in Articles 50 and 51 of this Law, the powers of the arbitrator shall be resumed and then terminated after the completion of the procedural actions provided for in these articles.
