Article 30. Peculiarities of juvenile detention of the Law on the Procedure and Conditions of Detention of Persons in Special Institutions, Special Premises Providing Temporary Isolation from Society
1. Underage suspects and accused persons are provided with improved material and living conditions and increased nutrition standards are established in accordance with the procedure provided for by the Budget Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Daily walks of underage suspects and accused persons are set to last at least two hours. During walks, minors are provided with the opportunity for physical exercises and sports games.
3. If conditions are met, underage suspects and accused persons are shown films, TV shows are organized for them, facilities for sports and other leisure activities are equipped, as well as outdoor sports grounds.
4. Minor suspects and accused persons are allowed to purchase and receive textbooks and school writing materials, as well as receive them in transfers and parcels in excess of the norms provided for in Article 24 of this Law.

This Law defines the legal basis for the activities of special institutions and special premises that legally provide temporary isolation from society, and also establishes the rights and obligations of the persons contained therein.
