Article 14. Regime in places of detention of the Law On the Procedure and Conditions of Detention of Persons in Special Institutions, Special Premises Providing Temporary Isolation from Society
1. A regime is established in places of detention to ensure respect for the rights of suspects and accused, the performance of their duties, their isolation, as well as the fulfillment of tasks provided for by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The administration is responsible for ensuring the regime, as well as for employees of places of detention who are legally responsible for non-fulfillment or improper performance of official duties.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 30, 1999 No. 353-I.
This Law defines the legal basis for the activities of special institutions and special premises that legally provide temporary isolation from society, and also establishes the rights and obligations of the persons contained therein.
