Article 150. Detention of suspects, accused and defendants, to whom detention has been applied as a preventive measure, in places of detention CPC RK Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. In cases where delivery to a pre-trial detention facility of a suspect, accused, defendant, in respect of whom detention has been applied as a preventive measure, is impossible due to the remoteness or lack of appropriate means of communication, or the need for investigative actions or consideration of the case by a court, such persons, by order of the person conducting the pre-trial investigation, approved by the prosecutor, or They may be held in temporary detention facilities for up to thirty days by an investigating judge or a court, and military personnel in the guardhouse.
The procedure and conditions of detention of such persons are determined by law.
2. The transfer (staging) of a suspect, accused and defendant, in respect of whom detention has been applied as a preventive measure, from one pre-trial detention facility to another pre-trial detention facility for investigative actions is carried out by a decision of the prosecutor or by a decision of the person conducting the pre-trial investigation approved by the prosecutor.
