1. The name of a political party must contain the words "political party" or "party", the use of which is allowed only in the name of a political party.

The full and abbreviated name of a political party and its symbols must not completely or substantially duplicate the names and symbols of state bodies, political parties and public associations registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as political parties and public associations that have been liquidated in connection with violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The name of a political party may not include national, ethnic, religious, regional, communal, or gender characteristics, or use the names and surnames of its leader or historical figures.

3. A political party may not use state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other states as its symbols.

4. A political party has the right to use emblems, flags, anthems, pennants, and badges as symbols.

5. The symbols of a political party should not serve to promote unconstitutional and illegal purposes.

6. The description and sketches of the symbols of a political party must be contained in the charter.
