Article 127. Failure to fulfill the duties of upbringing and (or) education, protection of rights and (or) interests, measures to ensure the safety of minors of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses

1. Failure by parents or other legal representatives to fulfill their duties of upbringing and (or) education, protection of rights and (or) interests, measures to ensure the safety of minor children, as well as their care and maintenance –
entails a fine in the amount of ten monthly calculation indices.
2. The act provided for in the first part of this article, committed repeatedly within a year after the imposition of an administrative penalty, –
entails a fine in the amount of fifteen monthly calculation indices or administrative arrest for up to five days.
3. An act provided for in the first part of this article committed by a parent or other person charged with these duties, as well as by a teacher or other employee of an educational, healthcare or other organization charged with upbringing and/or education, which resulted in the use of alcoholic beverages, narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogues by a minor. either engaging in vagrancy or begging, or committing an intentional act containing signs of a criminal or administrative offense., –
entails a fine in the amount of twenty monthly calculation indices or administrative arrest for up to ten days.
