Article 36. Duties of state revenue bodies and other bodies, transport organizations operating at checkpoints on issues related to maintaining the established regime of the Law on the State Border of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Employees of transport organizations involved in international transportation, including owners of vehicles, must:
1) take measures to prevent unauthorized persons from entering vehicles, carrying foreign goods and goods on them;
2) when at the checkpoint, at the request of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, open sealed (sealed) wagons, containers, cars, holds and other premises of vehicles, as well as cargoes and goods, for inspection. At checkpoints where there is a division of the state revenue authorities, an autopsy is performed in the presence of their representatives.;
3) notify passengers of arrival at the checkpoint and upcoming border control, restrict the movement of passengers by vehicle, inform representatives of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan about the number of passengers and their behavior en route.
2. The heads of state revenue bodies and other bodies, transport organizations operating at the checkpoint, notify the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.:
1) about the employees who remained after the end of work;
2) about persons who have been dismissed from their jobs or suspended from performing their duties at a checkpoint, with the presentation of their passports withdrawn from them within twenty-four hours after their dismissal, transfer to another position or job site, or the occurrence of other circumstances.
