PROTOCOL on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Border Checkpoints, signed on December 25, 2003 in Astana

Entered into force on March 2, 2016 - Bulletin of International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan 2016, No. 3, art. 42

The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, in order to move the checkpoint from Merke station to Chaldovar station and improve the procedure for passing persons, goods and vehicles across the Kazakh-Kyrgyz state border, have agreed to amend the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on Checkpoints across the state Border. the Agreement signed on December 25, 2003 in Astana (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement):

Article 1

In the column "Name of checkpoints in the Republic of Kazakhstan" of paragraph 10 of the Annex to the Agreement, replace the words "Merke - railway" with the words "Chaldovar - railway".

Article 2

This Protocol is an integral part of The Agreement shall enter into force on the date of receipt of the last written notification on the completion by the Parties of the internal procedures necessary for its entry into force. This Protocol is valid until the termination of the Agreement.

Done in Astana on April 11, 2013, in two copies, each in the Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Russian languages, all texts having the same legal force.

In case of disagreement in the interpretation of the provisions of this Protocol, the Parties will be guided by the text in Russian.
