Article 409. Monitoring of the ecological situation in the ecological emergency zone and the ecological disaster zone of the Ecological Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Monitoring of the environmental situation includes special observations of the state of the environment and public health and relevant research.
2. The objects of monitoring the ecological situation in the zone of ecological emergency and the zone of ecological disaster are:
1) the factors that led to the occurrence of an environmental emergency or ecological disaster;
2) negative changes in the state of the environment and public health in the territory of an ecological emergency or disaster zone, as well as in the territories adjacent to them, including the quality of atmospheric air, surface and groundwater, soils, radiological indicators, as well as biodiversity.
