Article 48. Temporary suspension of a civil servant from office The Law on the Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan
A civil servant may be temporarily suspended from office.:
1) in accordance with the criminal procedure legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) in the case of an internal investigation, by an official (body) having the right to be appointed to a public position and dismissed from a public position, until the issue of responsibility is resolved, but for a period of no more than one month with pay.
An act of an official (body) having such a right in accordance with his official powers, or another official (body) to whom these powers have been delegated, is issued on the temporary suspension of a civil servant from the exercise of official powers.
