On the reorganization of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes (Financial Police)

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 25, 2005 No. 1521.

 In accordance with subparagraph 3) of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. To reorganize the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes (financial police) by transforming it into a state body directly subordinate and accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. To make the following amendment to paragraph 1 of Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 22, 1999 No. 6 "On the Structure of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan":

     delete the following paragraph:

     "Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes (Financial Police)".

     3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the measures resulting from this Decree.

     4. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     5. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
