1. When state organizations are privatized, the documents of the National Archival Fund created before privatization retain the status of state property, except in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The archives of State-owned legal entities transferred to the management of foreign companies or individuals retain the status of state ownership and must be returned to the State.

3. When reorganizing legal entities, the documents of the National Archival Fund and personnel are transferred in an orderly manner to the legal successors.

4. Upon liquidation of legal entities, the documents of the National Archival Fund and personnel are transferred in an orderly manner for storage in the appropriate state or special state archive in coordination with the authorized body.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of collection, acquisition, storage, state accounting and use of documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the state administration of archival affairs in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
