On the reorganization of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 9, 2004 No. 1382

  In accordance with subparagraph 3) Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan

I decree:      

1. Reorganize the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition by transforming it into a central executive body that is not part of the Government.      

2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the measures resulting from this Decree within one month.      

3. Paragraph 1 The Decree To add the following paragraph to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 22, 1999 No. 6 "On the Structure of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan":      

"Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition".      

4. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

5. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
